Pastoral Care

offered by the Protestant and Catholic church communities.

“I was sick and you visited me” – we as local Christian church communities aim to fill this sentence spoken by Jesus with life. That is why we come to see patients at the Schindlbeck Klinik who wish to be visited.

If you state at registration that you wish for a pastoral worker to visit you (Protestant or Catholic), we will be delighted to come. Of course you can also pass on your wish to our nursing staff or at information desk on the ground floor later during your stay.

At weekly intervals we visit the individual clinic wards with volunteer pastoral workers. We take time for you. We listen to you. We pray with you if desired and we administer the Holy Communion if you wish. We are bound to secrecy. As pastoral workers we accompany you on your way through your sickness and hopefully to recovery.

For conversations and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper our Protestant pastor Katrin Hussmann is available, for the recipience of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Anointing of the Sick our Catholic priest Simon Rapp is at your disposal.
