How to reach us?
Outside consultation hours of your general practitioner you are referred to us by emergency directing service of local general practitioners (116 117), emergency physician (112) or ambulance service for inpatient treatment. Our emergency room is located on the clinics’ ground floor and signposted from the main entrance.
Which documents are required?
If possible, please bring along all your medical documents:
- health insurance card
- referral form
- discharge letters / previous findings
- medication charts
- diabetes overview / pacemaker identity document
Procedure at the emergency room
Our team faces the challenge 24/7 every day of the year to offer you timely and competent medical care. Our work is unpredictable, therefore waiting times can not always be avoided.
After registering your personal details you are examined and treated by a physician in one of our treatment rooms. If necessary further diagnostic measures are performed (e.g. blood analysis, radiography, ultrasound scans, ECG etc.). After having performed these procedures the treating physician will review and discuss findings and diagnoses with you in order to develop a treatment plan.
If necessary seriously sick patients after having completed initial care can be transferred to a clinic featuring maximum treatment.
Please observe that we treat patients according to the severity of their diseases. The sequence order of treatment does not follow the order in which the patient is presented. Please also keep in mind that waiting periods may arise as a result of consulting specialists from the respective specialist departments.
